Well what a gorgeous Feb day!! Very, very cold!!!! But garden looks gorgeous. Done some washing, the washing up and made more fat balls for the birds since the greedy little things scoffed the last lot!
Today’s fat ball recipe; Left over stolen, pantone and mice pies (another box of Mr K’s used from my bargain buy of 5 (yes 5!) boxes for £1 in January! All crumbled together in a BIG bowl. Then add the dripping I’d got left over from the roast the other day and last night’s chicken!. Form into balls and take to the usual place in the garden.
Return inside and watch the fun as the birds realise I’ve put more food out! Job done.
So – what to do today – have lots of ideas for new capelets designs – and new hairvines. Spent tooo much time on FB this week – need to do something practical today – such a gorgeous blue sky . . . oh took some fab photos of my cabbages (from last year – yes they are still in the raised beds as didn’t grow very well due to the dry summer) with frost on and the last rose still blooming but frozen! Barney (our mini sausage dog) is playing happily on the sofa with whats left of the pink square thing – oh not so happy is grumbling at me to play with him! Sam has decided to play with Barney, well at least to chase him! That’s all for now – off to do some work. Speak later Debi x.
SNOOOOOWwwwww. first bit of snow – well it is december! Just a little sprinkle and that’s plenty for me after last year! Will have to put photoshoots off now til new year . . . . I’m working on new designs at the moment for corsets, skirts and one-off tiaras etc. Will post up photos as I have them. If you have any ideas contact me and we can have a chat! Have to go for now. Hi everybody!!! well its been a while since I last blogged. After a horrendous flu-like illness and viral infection that has laid me low for some weeks – I’m now back. Unfortunately – as a result – I’m now way behind my schedule!!! Grrr.
But anyway to bring you up to date . . my gorgeous bride Alex got married on 31Oct2011 in my ‘Satine’ (pronounced sateene) corset and skirt design in the original barberry – a gorgeous burnt orange silk dupion – with a matching jacket (just in case it was cold) and a version of my ‘Autumn leaves’ tiara with dark red, gold and bronze leaves -see my facebook page gothikdesigns for the photo album!

Well . The photoshoot has been postponed for now . . . but the good bit is that I have been very inspired and will be making a number of samples in the next few weeks – and then in the new year the shoot will take place. I’ll put some sketches up here soon to give you a sneak preview!

well – hectic week – but all sewing done for now. New tiara and circlet versions done. Domestic goddess time now while hubby watches telly – made blueberry and coconut shortbread mmmmm – worked out well!
